Well we got our foot of snow and I got my first stuck pic. How did I do this? Stopping to get a pic of course. The foot of fresh stuff takes me right up to the diffs with 35s. When I got back in the Cj I broke thru about an inch of ice and dug into another 4 to 5 in. of snow. A little shoveling and a push from the boy got me going again.

The Mtrs clean out great but dig to China as well. Im not sure what tires would help dragging the diffs like I was though. I shouldnt have stopped where I did for the pic so thats Operator error. It was fun all in all.

Thats true . Just saw this morning our total snowfall for the year is at 63 in. We got an additional 6 in. last nite. No off road pics of the Cj today. Id need a new winch cable before venturing out in this. Almost 18 in of fresh stuff on top of about 5 that never melted with about an in. of ice somewhere in there.

In SoCal, with the low water supply were not even supposed to wash our cars. In one of the local cities it got to 91 degrees.

You got lucky, or unlucky depending on how you like snow. We got 12" but the late night snow only left another 1/2" or so.
I don't have any action shots of my Jeep in the snow, as it's been apart for 2 1/2 years now but heres an old one from the late 80's and some snow from an overnite stay at camp.

Thats a great pic Pa Renegade . Id make post cards outta that one. :drool: Im usually more of a Summer guy but playing with the Cj in the snow this Winter has been fun. If things go as planned I only have a few more Winters here so Ive chosen to try and enjoy them. I am tired of shoveling though and its getting hard to find somewhere to go with it. Supposed to get a measely 2 to 4 inch. tonite.

Vicki and I decided we should experiment with some video for when we go out this Spring. A simple clip of me having to take a running shot up the driveway since we've had all this snow. Ive probably done this 15 to 20 times the last week without a hitch. That includes a run where Vicki had the camera sideways. Then of course the camera was rolling in the right direction when:

If you turn it up a little you can hear me laughing when I hit it almost right away. Im sure I'll be able to add some interesting commentary when the shoe is on the other foot.

The garage door has to be wide open or it hits. Its been snowing so much here its crazy. I rarely shovel in front of the garage but Ive had to a bunch this year cause packing it down isnt enough.

Pretty cool out right now, we are getting thunder snow. I haven't seen any lightning yet though.

Been snowing here in the northeast every two or three days recently. SNOW SUCKS. It's a good thing that i've got a few projects to do or i would go crazier than i am.

The winter is almost over but there's still a little snow remaining.
Today I made my first road test with the Porter & Reed cab installed.
I was surprised how warm it got with the heater on.
