Looking for latch mechanism or something to use instead of factory

The Jeep was totally gone thru, 124k original miles on body,
New Crate engine and Trans, Weber Carb, Interior replaced back to stock, Dana 44 Rear, Dana 35 Front, 2.5 " Suspension Lift 1" body 33-12.50 Tires on Mickey Thompson Wheels, New Dupont Paint
My latching mechanism has went out in my CJ7 hard doors, it would happen right after a full paint job,
problem is no one makes the latch mechanism, its the part that inside the door that the handle moves to push a piece to and release from the striker,
I have had no luck with salvage yards, i found a door where the guy says it works and it even has a key, its rusted to heck and back but id have to ship it and he wants too much for it, and then if the striker dont work or if his is broke im screwed again
need help fellas
