MC2100 Carb Upgrade
I've been reading about swapping out the carb for an MC2100 Carb. Just putting feelers out there to see how many of you have done this and your thoughts on it.
Thanks in advance
1.08 bore from an AMC 304 or Ford 302
There is a guy that sells the rebuilt carb with the correct jets and the adapter on eBay and I know someone here bought one from him but I couldn’t find him on eBay

You want an older version without the solenoid on the back. There is a version with an altitude compensator, that's OK (I forget what it's called). The newer one is technically an MC2150 but nobody calls them that. I found mine on an '85 (?) Ford Bronco II. I rebuilt it but never finished because I came across a BBD with intake manifold from an AMC Eagle, it works just fine for a daily driver.
Dang dude that’s one of the last carburetor equipped vehicles made
The Eagle was an '88 and someone drove it to the lot, and I think with a gallon of gas I could have driven it back out. I snagged both manifolds, the carb, and a coveted power steering bracket with pump. The air cleaner didn't work since I have power brakes, but luckily the one from the Bronco II has a factory dent that cleared the booster, just needed a cheap adapter from 2-5/8 to 5-1/8 or whatever.
