I've been doing a lot of reading of blogs, message boards, documentation, etc. but I've yet to find a solid answer as to how much fuel pressure you can put to an MC2100 without it moving the needle.

The most common answer is 6psi - but is that the answer or just the most common "safe" answer?

6 p.s.i. is a bit much for a mechanical fuel pump, also plenty for a carb'ed engine, with a needle and seat assembly to hold back the pressure.

I'm not sure what the MC2100 rating is, but I believe that the factory specs for the fuel pumps on the V8s is 5 to 6.5psi

I'm gonna use a regulator then with a bypass. Set it as 6.5 and dial back if needed.
