Missing clutch parts
i recently removed an engine for replacement and to no suprise someone has been in there before and had one to many 6 packs and left parts out. my question is on the clutch portion, is the pivot ball for the fork just a ball that sits in there and if so what keeps it in place. this is my first jeep, but on the gm's ive worked one it screws into the bell housing. thanks.

if you look at the not so great diagram of the clutch components on the link the throw out bearing (#16)will snap onto the end of the fork,(#3) there is a short spring (#12)near the throw out bearing to pull the fork towards the tranny and then the fork rests on the "pivot ball"(#15) and the return spring(#6) pulls on the fork to keep it in place
