Passenger side has slipped. Photos below (2 for passenger's side and one for driver's side).
M.O.R.E. Mounts ordered and on the way.
Question: Will a floor jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan provide enough lift to change these mounts??? Can I drive it on short trips like this??

I can't answer your second question, as I can't really tell the condition of your motor mounts…but as for the floor jack and piece of wood -- that will do just fine, depending on the stroke of your floor jack. That's how I've removed and re-installed my own.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. The bolts look a little rusty.....

Yes on jack and block of wood.
NO-I would not drive it!!
To much of a change in poke'n a hole in the oil filter and the fan hit'n the radiator.
Been run'n those MORE mounts in my jeep since they came out with them-Really like'em.

MORE mounts going in this week.
Thanks, not driving it. I noticed a little clanging when starting out in first gear - one of the exhaust headers is hitting frame. It should go away when I get the engine back in it's correct location!

By installing those mounts made by Mountian Off-Road, you do realize that it will practically eliminate any future motor mount problems. Fortunatly there are other issues you will encounter. Installing a rear poly mount I think will also help.

M.O.R.E. mounts installed!

Now would be the time to replace the tranny mount with a poly type along with the torque arm bushings.
Also-Double ck the clutch pedal freeplay to be sure it's 1-1 1/4".

Torxhead, can you enlighten me on the "other issues" or are you just poking? Will start building mine back up from the frame soon and will need new mounts. Appreciate any advice on the best solution for my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .

"Poking" would be a good term for it. Its all part of owning a vehicle as old as it is, that will nickle and dime you to death. Those motor mounts are a great improvement, I have heard a lot of guys complain about how expensive they are though.
