MSD HEI ignition parts

I've been using a HEI distributor for a year or 2 in my 1981 CJ7 , it was a SummitRacing blueprinted HEI p/n 8500047 and it is performing well.
As I need backup on the electronic parts i.e: ignition module and coil, after considering few options such as Summit, Davis and OEM ... I decided to give a try to the new MSD HEAT HEI ignition p/n 83647 ... I got it from eBay at USD 99. The new HEI will be the main and I put the original Summit module as a backup.
A long with the module were also the MSD HEI coil p/n 8225 and a set of spark plug wire from MAGNECOR KV 85 --> MAGNECOR Race Wires: WELCOME TO MAGNECOR! (this wire I choose because I want to give it a try for a long time already +/- 10 years)
So this is really just for sharing and hopefully I get a feedback .. I don't know if this will be a good combination bcoz the HEAT HEI 83647 is new product ...
The Ignition module comes with a low resistance rotor bushing for use with MSD HEI coil.
The MSD HEI coil include also a rotor bushing, but this is a very high resistance bushing for use with stock type ignition module. The MSD HEI coil has a low resistance windings then to prevent a stock ignition from burning out we have to use the supplied coil bushing.
I have installed them and so far running okay, I did feel much low end torque improvement and exhaust sound noticeable different ... but I still try to fine tune it as it seems a bit retard on timing although I did not take out the distributor when doing the install.
