This is my 1963 CJ3b build in pictures from over the last 16 yrs. The jeep was purchased by my dad used, in '64 then it became the farm, dove hunt, trainer for new drivers and trail riding vehicle. The build was started in 2009 and just this past year completed. When I first started it was a rolling restoration that got driven occasionally. I got the brakes working (very important :)) painted it all primer and upgraded to ford rims and modern tires. Drove it like that for about 9yrs then decided to go all out. I took it to a friends body shop that worked on classic cars and stripped it down for repairs to the body, POR-ed the frame and stuck in a Dauntless Buick 225 V6 . It took another few years and numerous mechanics to sort it all out. These are the first mods, repairs and primer coating that I did myself. More pics of the progress and finished Willys as she sits today in further posting.
