I've have been over heating. I have an inter cooler for the Transmission located on radiator. I have replaced all fluids after flushing the radiator. There is coolant coming out of a tube located on the passenger side lower firewall beneath the battery. Heater coil overflow?
Fluid is hitting my headers causing coolant vapors to enter the cabin.

Any ideas?
Thanks

That is not a heater core overflow that is for any water that comes in the vent at the top of your tub that makes its way to the bottem of your heater box to drain out if you are getting coolant comming out of there your heater core is leaking. I would check your thermostat our you may have a air bubble in the system.

first there should be a rubber hose with a 90 degree bend on the connector that is in the picture

i had a pickup that when the heater core went bad it leaked in the cab on to the floorboard

check out heater core and inspect for leakage origin
replace if needed

also have you checked to see if there is a thermostat?
gauge rises then drops suddenly

I would guess and say the overheating is from the loss of fluid through the heater core
but still check around the water pump, hoses and thermostat housing for any "pressure" leaks

the connector maybe for the tub drain but it right where the heater core is and leaking coolant tells me to inspect the heater core

I would agree with mtnwhlr but would be leaning towards the heater core , especially ifs the original one , but change the thermostat first
