New 83 CJ8 & clutch travel

New 83 CJ8 & clutch travel
I never asked how he bled the clutch, all I care is that it runs great. Drove it three hours to NW Pa yesterday and she ran great. 3:31 gears w/5 speed required 4th gear to climb the long hills. Cross over the highest elevation east of the Mississippi on Rt80. Engine leaned towards the hot side but never pegged HOT.

I run Dot 4 in my hydro system. I've only bled my slave once, when I replaced it. Every other time it has needed bleeding, it was on top at the clutch master cylinder itself and really easy

You're bleeding the clutch MC, just as one does the brake MC.
That does not purge the whole system of air.;)

Correct I only purged the system when I did the slave. I was getting the air out of the system at the CMC. Just like brakes it takes 2 to tango to purge usually :)
