Brakes New master cylinder, leaking at fittings

Put in a new master cylinder in my 80 CJ5 . The brake line fittings are leaking. just barely. tightened down pretty tight. What should I check for before buying new lines. (master cylinder to proportioning valve)

First,
Check for DIRT !!
Any little grain of anything between Tube Flange and Matching face in the Master Cylinder. Also DIRT between the Tube and Flange Nut.

Second, a crack in the tubing flare.

Third, sometimes these
"Best Made in China" New Master Cylinders have "Metric" cut fitting openings. And you have a "Interface" problem. Usually Metrics have a Different Tubing Nut ....but what can I say about Chineseium Quality?!

Looks like the master cylinder was leaking around the cap. I probably over filled it. removed some fluid and I'll keep an eye on it.

And to learn from my own
Stupidiness !!!!
Remove the Cap when you do a Brake Pad/Shoes replacement!!
I was Fighting to get the Caliper Pistons pushed back in......
It's called Hydraulic Brakes for a Reason !!! The fluid in the System had Nowhere to GO !! After I gave the C clamp a Whack with a Hammer.....the Reservoir Cap Blew Off and I had Brake Fluid ALL OVER the place !!
