My new to me 1966 CJ5 has 10" manual adjust brakes. I am replacing almost everything due to missing, wore out, or rusted parts. One of the rear drums was cut off with a grinder at some point and everything but the wheel cylinder is gone. I have searched without any luck to try to locate the lower brake shoe return spring and the wheel cylinder links. I have considered modifying a spring to fit and making the links on my lathe if these parts are not available. Any suggestions for a source for these hen's teeth?

Maybe try giving Bernie's a call. He shows wheel cylinders and other parts on their site (although it does say "Call for availability"). Omixparts.com also lists some of the springs and wheel cylinders as well.

VintageJeepParts.com lists a full kit for your year model, but it shows it's for 9" rather than 10".
