New soft top for a '84 CJ7

Here are some more pictures of the top on the jeep. The doors are kind of a pain to adjust. Because they are fabric they flex a little, so getting a perfect fit, when closed, is pretty hard. The bottom doors went on no problem. Getting the full door to close and seal just took a bit of playing with the adjustments. I have them pretty good now, but there is one little gap in the passenger door. No big deal though. I just want it perfect, haha. The tinted windows are awesome! I am so glad I went with them.

What kind of latch or striker or whatever it's called that attaches to the opening on the side of the jeep- (not the door itself).

I bought that same top with tinted windows. But the new handles with the locks dont fit the striker (I think) that's on my jeep.....

So looks like I need some thing called a striker plate or whatever that is original for hard doors, and of course I don't have those. So if I want to use the locking door handles I have to find these.

Is this what I am looking for?

BTW- I LOVE the tint too. I was simply amazed at how clear I could see out of a new top. I guess I thought all jeeps had scratched up plastic in the soft tops.

Congrats on the new jeep and your new top! I have a YJ tub on mine with strikers/nader pins. I bought a top that was for 87-95 YJs and it worked perfectly. Sorry I can't help. Best top makes latches for CJs with different latches though. I would just contact them and tell them what you need.
