Nutmeg dash pad?

Anyone repaint their nutmeg dash pad. I have searched everywhere and cant seem to find a nutmeg replacement dash pad. I have found black and gray replacement but not tan or nutmeg. I have read people have re-painted theirs with spray paint does anyone have pictures of how it actually comes out? What type of paint and primer was used?

Thanks 007 I called Rudy he didn't have any on hand but said when he does find one they usually go for about 400 used.

$400 OMG go ahead and paint it. There are some rattle can vinyl paints that do a nice job. I painted a motorcycle seat, it was HD grey and I wanted black. Looked good, stayed good, was perfect the last time I saw it and we are talking about lasting for years in the hot Arizona sun.

Plastic pads don't belong in a proper CJ anyways. ...but I might be prejudice

I changed the whole inside of my truck from brown to blue when I did a color change and painted everything from the dash to the sun visors and door panels. I got the paint from a automotive paint store. No need for primer just clean real good and spray. Ten years later and still look as good as it did after I did it.

yeah I think I am just going to pick up some of the vinyl spay cans and paint it.. if I mess it up I will just order a new black dash pad online.

I recommend SEM products. I used their Vinyl Prep and Color Coat before. They worked very well.
