OR FAB tire swing

I am looking to buy a tire carrier for my 75 CJ5 and came accross this one:

any thought or expereinces with one? Mine doens't have a tailgate.

I think you will have to modify that one so much you may as well start from scratch.

because it will be too big?
It looks like there are mounting brackets that go on the body and that's about it.

that is most of the problem, right there. You just don't know.

It may be too wide, tall, flat, round , whatever.

I don't see a price but I would guess at least $300 +. That's a fair chunk of change to be doing too much cutting and welding.
did you call Orfab to see what they thought about it??

I would guess that if you can modify it you can more than likely build one.
