Been watching it a while on the history channel, Kinda got hooked, love they stuff that comes in and the research they do on it. I do wonder where some of the guys come up with some of the stuff though,
So, any Chumlee fans here?

I love that show. Last week some guy showed up with a real original ford shelby cobra body and frame that he pulled form a storage unit that was abandoned. He did due dilligence and the owner never called back so he owned it. the body and frame ended up being worth $50,000. Pawn Stars bought it for $35,000

I saw that episode... Beautiful looking Shelby!

Did you catch the 'Old Man's' hot lap? :wtf: He hit a blistering 35 mph!

that was funny, I loved the chrysler imperial episode also, just a cool car

I thought I was the only one the watched that show. Now I know there are at least four of us. I can't believe what customers accept for their stuff. 10 cents on the dollar. I guess when you need the money, you'll take it. Seems like they could put it on fleecebay or crackslist and get better money..... I liked the Imperial one also.

Did you guys see the episode where the guy brought in a quilt signed by a :dung: load of famouse people and sewn over the signatures or copied on then sewn over? there was a quilt piece with charles manson i thought that was cool.

I just watched the year recap last night. They showed snippets from all their shows and then they also showed what they made for profit on the items. I must say the profit margin on most items were not that high so it actually show that they are not undercutting the sellers as much as I thought. The Chris Craft boat only netted them $1500. They did make a ton off the Cobra though, $30,000.

I admit, there is something interesting about that show, and it's not chumlee! :poke::shooter:
They do get some very interesting items in there. How does someone leave a cobra in a storage unit?

We have seen all the episodes... my wife digs it as well, so that makes it easier to watch... no fighting over what to watch... for you East Coasters, it is like Antique Roadshow, but with a pawnshop and funny personalities.

Chum-lee is an ID-IOT, but he does add comic relief as the village idiot.

I want to bring my rig in there and see what they would give me... just for the hell of it!
