Electrical Permanent fix for high beam floor switch

So I’ve been through a couple of these and the contact block pops out of the back. Lights go out on dark dirt roads.
I dimpled the bottom in with a punch seems to be a solid fix.

Good idea... It's a little bit of a pia when you suddenly loose you head lights!
The pic can be a little difficult to see the dimples if you don't know what look for so I added some markers.

I replaced mine with one from a 72 ford f100. Looks very similar and does have dimples in the sides, see pic.

That's exactly what I used and it works perfectly.

I bought a BWD, lifetime warranty, but it's held up for a few years anyways...
