My 360 is at the machine shop and has to be bored 0.030 over. So obviously pistons need replacement. Not much information on the few available pistons and every search seams to bring up either Chevrolet rebuilds or insane screamer builds. I just want a decent replacement piston preferably with coated skirts. Will be running larger cam, performer intake and 600cfm carb if it makes any difference. Summit only has 2 piston choices. Sealed power and Keith Black. Are there any better choices?

X2 for the KB pistons. Make sure your engine builder knows about the critical top ring gap specs. They run wider gaps than you'd expect (on the hyper slugs, anyway). The instructions included with the pistons need to be adhered to.

Attention to those instructions and I don't think you'll regret Keith Black.

Yeah I found the wiseco pistons as I have used them in another car before. But they are a lot more expensive than the others.

Have you ask'd the engine builder this?

I rebuilt a SBC once and just went with SealedPower and had no problems whatsoever. It too had the Performer cam and intake and same 600cfm Edelbrock carb. Pretty sure they owned by Federal-Mogul.
