So I found a AMC 360 out of a 1980 with 60k on it and that has been bored out .030". The price is $120 which is great but it has piston slap on #8. Oil pressure is said to be 20-30psi and Im guessing this is a idle.
So my question, is this engine even worth trying to fix or rebuild to replace my AMC 304 ? I was not sure since it was already bored out .030. I was also not sure it piston slap can be fixed in a rebuild. Any help would be great. Thanks.
