Looks like you're missing the actual metal ball that goes in there for the fork to pivot on.

It is, I have yet to find it. I was looking for a solution and came across a part that is sold at a local shop. Has the ball on one end and the other is threaded like a bolt. I'd have to drill and tap into the cup. I may as well throw the whole jeep away and start over, LOL!!!! I want it fixed correctly, but I want it better so it won't happen again.

I hear what you're saying about a ball on a threaded stud, I thought that would be better too. We'll have to work on it to make that happen.
