Back in 2014 I met an interesting gentleman, and my new friend in Sliverton, Mr Carey Green. He's been living in Silveton for 25 years. He purchased his ford woody from the Henry Ford Museum in 1997 (auction). We talked for about 40 mins back in the summer of 2014. He told me if I come back next year he would give me a ride (he was charging the battery when I arrived). I wasn't looking for a ride but enjoyed chatting with him, plenty of history in his stories.
I stopped by in 2015 and he wasn't home, last year I stopped by again and talked to a guy that was tending to his yard. He told me Carey was napping so I missed him again. Hopefully I will get to see and talk to him this year.

Random thought
My excitement continues to grow as we get closer!! I just wish my jeep was as ready as I am.. Anyways my excitement lead me to google earth & street view the Comfort Inn Hotel. There seems to be enough truck and trailer parking for 6+ trucks & trailers. Who all is staying where and are you driving your CJ or hauling it on a trailer?
Hoghead and I + a newfangled JK(maybe) are staying at the Comfort Inn and will be hauling our CJ's on trailers.

I haven't heard from Coldair - I know hes been working on a few major things to try to get ready - I believe it's still his plan to go too.
I think Hagar's +1 is Hog Head, but may be mistaken there...
