Hello , could anyone tell me what this plug is off the positive side of the coil? I have a similar plug, but black off the starter relay. My factory tach currently does not work. Could this be used to connect a tach?

Thank you for your help,
Scott

I think so, check your service manual for factory tach wiring. late for work or I would look.

Thanks for the reply. The service manual shows hooking a tach off the negative on the coil. This is a plug on the positive side so I'm a little confused.

Thats where you get your pulse for your tack off the positive wire.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

That plug actually goes to a capacitor jumper, part number 3229510 648. You only need it if there is a lot of interference on the radio.

Ok, that makes sense. I don't have a radio, but I do plan to install one, so that may come in handy. Thanks.
