Dana 44 rear, 30 front,
Good morning everyone,
I'll get right down to this one, I was tuning my 77 CJ5 yesterday and I suddenly heard a fairly prominent ticking coming from the valve cover right up front. Pulled the valve cover, and was just starting to check the valve lash-gap, so I'm standing on the bumper rotating the engine with the fan and the number one rocker arm pivot bridge shattered in my face. This can't be normal right?
Couple questions,
Do I replace all of them now? or just that one? Also I was told this jeep should be hydraulic lifters but when I push down on the push rod it doesn't feel spongy at all? should it? How can I confirm what I have?
