Rear axle hub removal

Rear axle hub removal
did you have to pull the carrier??

what is your ratio??

No I didn't have to pull the carrier. I have the stock 3.07. It was really easy to put in. The trick is a nice coating of grease to hold everything in place.

I have to make a slight correction. I found the box and mine wasn't a LockRight, it was an E-Z Locker from Detroit. Pretty much the same thing though I believe. No directions in the box though.

Pimtool - Would you have had to pull your axle shafts out a bit to install it? I know you said you did but was it needed?

I only pulled one axle out a few inches, I wwould say yes it was necessary because I don't think you would be able to slide the parts in and over the axle shafts with them in the way.
