Rear diff fill?

Trying to figure out how to put diff fluid back in rear diff. There is not a fill plug on cover like the front so wandering what the trick is, any help is appreciated.

I have the round , ball style cover, I believe it is a AMC20

Slightly off topic for this thread, but after seeing video below, I now always use my air compressor to fill any housing with Limited headroom.

I've had decent luck filling differentials with one of these cheap(ish) hand pumps. You can buy them at any parts store and they'll probably run you $20 or so.

Yep real pain to fill without a pump

I just take a piece of clear plastic/pvc hose about 6" long and roughly 1/2" o.d. and slide it down over the pointed cap that comes on most quart sized gear oil jugs. Then I'll take a piece of masking tape or two and apply it to the housing right below the fill plug hole in kind of a curved fashion so when it overflow's it's funneled out a bit and doesn't run down the underside of the differential. Then I place a drip pan below.
You stick the hose in the hole an inch or two, then rotate the jug up 90 degrees and squeeze, keeping the hose towards the top of the fill hole so you can watch for the oil level to reach the plug hole / full point. You might want to wrap a piece of duct tape around the hose / nozzle connection to make sure it stays on the tapered nozzle good.
It takes a while if your filling it from empty because of the viscosity and small hose i.d. Screw in the fill plug, wipe it, and pull off the tape and no mess to clean up.

The pump works great, the thing moves a lot of oil per pump and is surprisingly quick. Well worth the money. I didn't get the right one for smaller Transmission /diff. type oil containers. I could only find one for gallon jugs. Now I'm seeing the shorter ones for the smaller containers. So, if you can't find the right size look around a little more. It is a little ackward but the longer one works fine if you hold the pump rather than try to screw it on the container.

I'll have to try the pump next time. I think I have one from a Go-Jo container laying around.

To make delivery easier you'll need to put a clear hose on the pump snout. Also maybe a short one on the intake to get all the way to thew bottom of the container.
