I have been having problems with sputtering and dying. I recently put a new fuel pump in, cleaned out my fuel lines, replaced the in line fuel filter, pulled and treated the fuel tank.
Should I buy a new Solex Carb. Or rebuild my Carter???

I did replace the dist. cap, points, rotor, condensor, wires, plugs ignition coil. I have not done a pressure test or volume test. It seems to run ok for afew miles, then it starts to sputter and die. She will resart after i have waited a minute or two, but with the same result.

Thank you.
