So this project has gone almost too smooth. I’ve had a few setbacks, but nothing too bad. However, I’ve got to air the good with the bad. I was waiting on shocks, I knew I’d have to fab some new mounts and I did, but in my excitement I forgot to disconnect the battery before I welded on new mounts. So I French firetrucking fried the CD box. Ok I’ll own that, I’m a dumb , it happens. Unfortunately it also fried the Hall effect sensor in the distributor, that is a non serviceable part on AMC motors so it was a very costly mistake, that will remind me, forever to not get too excited and remember to check, recheck and double check. Anyways, some more overnight parts and maybe this heep will make it to the ocean for clam digging next weekend.
