Research for 350 conversion in my 74 CJ5

I am trying to get all the information i can to do my swap in my 74. i currently have a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l with a T-14 . i have done a lot or reading lately and think that it would be best for me when i swap the 258 for a 350 to swap the tranny to a T-18 ? any suggestions or info would me greatly appreciated.
