The PO of my 81 CJ5 pinched and ruined the right rear brake line. I have searched but just found braided lines. Where can i get the stock replacement of the right rear brake line?
Thanks

I am assuming you are talking the hardline along the axle? At our Napa they have a rack with assorted sizes and lengths of pre made lines that you bend yourself to suit. With a double flair tool you could also make your own very easily too.

advance carries a new line of brake lines in different lengths that you bend by hand. you can take them lines and bend a 90 by hand and it won't kink they work really well. i took a scrap piece and bent it into a tight coil and it didn't kink.

i work at advance auto and that new brake line is sweet.

Awesome, I will try and make it up there in the next couple days but in the mean time do yall know how much they run,

Oh and yes, i am talking about the hard line to the drum

The one I bought at napa was 1/4" x 51" and I don't remember exactlybut it was under $20.
They come in various lengths like I said with ends flaired so either take yours off and straighten it out for a good overall length or use a string to follow it's curve and measure, if your lucky it will be close enough to their generic sizes.

yeah i was impressed with em. i'm going to use em to replace all of the lines on my jeep when i eventually tear it down and rebuild it just for the ease of use.

I will use that to replace mine but thats just hard to fathom, I can bend a tube without it kinking, wow

well they work i don't know how. they aren't real expensive either, i wanna say we paid $5-$6 for the one we had to have it was pretty long for a full size chevy with a 12 bolt, it was back in jan. dalefan can give you a better idea on the price.
OK Preciate it

just went by and priced the line at Advanced, its only 4 bucks for a 30 inch piece. I would have picked it up but i dont know how long the stock line is bc my jeep is 4 hours away. i will measure it when i go back to Mississippi.
