So I finally mounted them and finished the A/C. It's so awesome having a jeep with A/C!

how well do the cubes light up? I'm thinking about using one as a rear cargo/backup light

Here's the best I could do with the CJ:

Just the Rigids.

Rigids and low beam.

Rigids and high beam.

This is also with the headlight wiring upgrade.

Thanks for the pics! Answers my question, they'd work real well as a cargo backup light :chug:

"great to have A/C in the Jeep" ?

A Yankee in Texas?

Sure,I can see this.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I'm from NC, far from a Yankee. Although I've been in much hotter (Middle East) it's still a comfort that I enjoy. [emoji4]

My apologies, I would never intentionally call some one names. I had thought you had said Pennsylvania was home.

Been a long time since the CJ was my DD and I seem to recall looking jealously at all those with the windows up while setting in Dallas traffic. :D

No biggie. My biological father lives there. I was raised in NC by my stepfather and mother.

I go between the CJ and a Nissan Titan when I want to pamper myself. [emoji3]

Those look really, really nice.

How did you decide where to mount them on your bumper?

-Jon

PS: why do I keep hearing Manfred Mann?

Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night

I have the stock bumper and it has holes already in them. Whether or not they're factory holes, I'm not sure.

Where I hear that song I think of the movie Blow.

I checked those out online. HOLY COW those are expensive. I would have to figure a way to weld those on. Things like that walk away here in Dallas.

But they are really cool. And bright. Looks nice.

I agree, they are very expensive. I red locktighted them. Hopefully that, and the cheapy motion sensor on the Jeep with persuade those to stay away.

The real question is, Do they come in a round configuration? There is something about having square lights on a true model jeep that.... I don't know, just doesn't seem right.

Good old KC lights throw out a lot of light too....... I'm just sayin'.

I know what you mean about air conditioning. When I sit in the driveway in my CJ the thing gets mighty hot and uncomfortable. Once it's started and on the road the air leaking in the door jamb and around the bikini top sure feels nice. The other night after a 107 day the AC was sure working great, it was raining a little, there was a nice cool mist blowing around the front seat it sure felt good. Or is there some other kind of air conditioning your speaking of? :D

Seriously those little guys do throw out a bunch of light.

I already had them lying around in my toolbox. I agree the square ones don't look like they got, but they'll work for now.

Those are awesome little lights. I installed 6 of them on a fire department rescue truck. Talk about turning night into day! I'm curious about your a\c. Did you use after market or OEM? Any picks? Rod

I ordered the kit from Jeepair. The nice thing is that the vents have more of an upward point instead of flat. It works great. Especially here in Texas.

I forgot to ask how the ac was going? I know that will definitely be a main reinstall when I am done with the 302
