Rochester 2SE carb. Help please

I rebuild and cleaned the carb . the engine will run but only if you mash the accelerator Petal down vigorusly. I think the idle mixture system might be clogged. Any other suggestions? Thanks guys!

I have not. What's the best method to use when checking for leaks?

Spraying carb cleaner around the base and gaskets of the carb.

I just put new gaskets on carb do you think it's around the intake manifold?

Spraying carb cleaner around the base and gaskets of the carb.

This^^^^ also check where the intake meets the head. Its not unheard of for those gaskets to leak
