Shocks Shocks for 4" Lift
Yep - all four. You do have to change the rubber bushings on one end of the front ones for them to mount correctly. You run those on all 4 corners? Says they are for a Grand Cherokee
can you elaborate on what you did for these to fit, replace the rubber bushing with what? Thanks JohnI have an 84 with a Rough Country 4" lift and run Monroe 58647 on both the front and rear. You have to replace the rubber bushings on one end of the front ones. These are coil-over type shocks and do better than the ones that came in the Rough Country lift kit. I tried some Skyjackers and they sucked and got returned.
I mis-spoke in my earlier post. I did not need to replace the bushings to make these fit. I simply needed to remove the metal insert in the center of the bushing. The rubber bushing itself is fine. Just place in a vice and use a hammer and punch (flat tipped) to drive out the metal sleeve in the center of the bushing. Then a perfect fit with my 4" suspension lift.can you elaborate on what you did for these to fit, replace the rubber bushing with what? Thanks John
