Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on where to get a short drive shaft build? I am currently in the market for a 12in shaft with a cv joint on the Transfer Case side and a u joint on the axle side. The problem I'm currently having is no one in my area wants to build it.

If not Tom Woods, then High Angle Driveline.

I urge you to call before internal damage is done to your driveline.

What kind of internal damage am I looking at to the yokes, Transfer Case or differential? Or just the shaft and u joints?

T'case and rear diff is a possibility because vibes and bearings don't mix well.

Also, with mine it melted the u-joint and broke free while doing 65 on the freeway... from the Transfer Case ... I'm lucky I was not catapulted / jeep didn't do a pole vault!

I agree with LG - take care of it now. If the vibration is that bad, it's already doing other damage he lists too.
