The scale of these stamp mills is mind blowing, considering that they had to bring all of this equipment up into the mountains with the vehicles of the time. 100 years ago. I can understand why they had no intentions of taking it out again.

"Wild" Colorado! Ouray

yeah they just kind of walked out when they wanted right? We had 3 visit us at our campground, and we were arms length away when we noticed them grazing (we were standing in the dark just bsing...) I was like oh ****! what is that.

Shined light on them and everything and they just looked up like " do you mind?" and went back to eating...

Craziest thing I ever seen... Was telling my wife about it that night still all excited and got the " yes dear - that's great... when you coming home?" lol Almost told her never - go buy a plane ticket - see you in a week.

:chug:

That buck and his harem were standing near the hot springs next to the road when we left Sunday morning; could care less when we stopped to take their pictures.

I was camping up in north park and one evening we were sitting next to the camp fire and a young bull moose comes strolling through about 15 yards from us like don't mind me just passing through.
