Suspension advise "Please"

I have always paid to have my vehicles lifted. Not w my dream CJ I want to do everything!!!!! I am going to put a 3inch Skyjacker lift on it this Sunday or as much of it as I can. Need to keep the wife happy :} The lift is going on my 75 CJ5 with a glass tub. Does anyone have any advice on what not to do and some tricks of the trade? I would be greatful. You all have made a huge difference on this build. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!

-Don't tighten up the bolts until every thing is in place, but still jacked up.
-Use a torque wrench. You don't want to under-tighten the Ubolts or over-tighten the spring mounts / shackles.
-Lube up all your leaf spring bolts and bushings with lubrathane or silicone grease. Both for smooth cycling and easy removal down the road.
-Some springs have a front and rear end. The directions should say.
----Use jack stands!----

take off one spring at a time, then replace it, that way you always have a reference of how things were set on the other side.
measure your front caster angle before starting and make sure it is the same when finished
bring along a damn it hammer, you know that hammer you poundon things with when you are frustrated to hell, you may need it to line a few things up to get a bolt or 2 back in.
remember, beer is your friend, just not all at once, keep a clear head, it may take a day if it is your first time.

How do I measure the front Caster? sorry this is my first time....

At a place that is perpendicular to the center lines of your ball joints, usually on top of the axle "C" or the top ball joints nut. Here's a link that may help you understand caster.

Well Thanks guys. I have the air tools and yes the beer too. I don't have a torch and god willing I hope to not need one. I probably will only get time to do one axle this weekend. Damn I can't wait to actually drive this!!!! It is killing me. The bumper I have partially put on needs two pieces to be welded on the frame for support and I can't do this till I get it registered and take it somewhere. I hope to get it registered on the 16th of this month and continue to get it ready for the spring.

Any other suggestions or tricks for this leaf lift?

It's pretty straight forward. Dont re-use the U-bolts if you can get away with it. They are typically one-time use.
Dont over tighten the bushing bolts, they need room to move, especially the shackle side.
