Yes it does, thank you very much for that. Im at 7" Im hoping Im ok to put the 33" tires on.

Front axle, 'rite'?
If YES-you're GTG at 7" w/33's.
Don't forget to lower the axle bump-stops, to protect the fender etc when the rig gets crossed up on the trail.

So of course you are correct, that did slip my mind, best way to do that is jack one tire up till the other tire comes off the ground and turn the wheels and check for rub ?

Right now I'm at 8" from top of Tire to Fender sitting on 31's, 33's will change that to 7", still think Im good b4 I go spend a ton of money on tires

Bet you still had the sway-bar hooked up....
I run 33's-Trust me when I say that what you do in the driveway with a jack, won't mean a thing on the trail.
Drop your bump-stops a good 2"
FWIW: I don't run a sway-bar at all.

Ill have to get out and look this morning, but I believe there is no sway bar on this jeep.

It had 33's on it according to a receipt found in the glove box. Tires and rims were stolen off of it during its 8 year abandonment, so maybe Bump stops have been done already, hopefully it will be obvious. If not I'm going to have to investigate that whole deal. Anyone know length of stock Bump stops?

Went out and looked at the CJ, it only has one bump stop on the whole jeep and that sits just over the front pumpkin above a flat spot thats cast in it. So I guess that goes on the list, just need to know how to figure out what I need for bump stops now.
Jeep has no sway bar.
