t150 issues please anyonehelp

I recently rebuilt my T-150 and put new shift forks in. The tranny seems to be great but when I put the shifter housing on I line the forks up and put the bolts all back in
It wont shift?? Any suggestions would be àmazing. Thx

Do you have the 2 shift pins in? These engage the shifter and hold it in position.



Where I am pointing too, need to be in neutral. Were you able to turn the input shaft without turning the output shaft?

I'm having the same problem with my T-176 . Its driving me nuts! Clearly I AM NOT a Transmission guy! I wish you luck

try this:
take the shifter top off.
align the shift collars (inside the Transmission ) so they are in neutral.
make sure the shifter top is in neutral by moving the shifter around and double checking the forks.
Slide the forks into the collars inside the Transmission .
gently snug up the top with the bolts, and see if it will turn.
If not, repeat step 1.

I finally got it to fit and work but I'm back to the beginning now. It still won't go into 2nd gear after I replaced the forks. I guess I just assumed that it was just the gear forks. I believe it's the 2nd and 3rd gear Sychronizer. So I'm gonna try that tomorrow. Any tips on how to tell if the Sychronizer is bad? The fork was ate down pretty well but now they're new

Thx guys I got her figured out .fixed.and put back in. She runs and goes into all gears.I am looking for the two little pins that go into the bottom of the shift lever? Anyone know where I could buy some? Thx

If you rebuilt the Transmission yourself, you can use 2 of the old large roller bearings, as they fit. Otherwise, PM me and I will send you 4.

That'd be great thx. Even though I don't know what pm means lol do I need 4 of those pins? I thought it was just two? The pins that hold the shift lever steady
