t86, t90 parts interchange

This is slowly becoming the project from h---. The doner jeep that we planned to use the drive line from has just revealed the reason we got it so cheap. After pressure washing the Transmission and Transfer Case , we found out that there are 2 long cracks in the Transmission case right where it bolts to the bell housing adaptor. Someone just chicken track welded it and it does not appear to be nirod, just whatever rod that happened to be handy. My question is, will the gears from the T-86 fit a T-90 case. The T-90 cases are readily available, but the T-86 cases are like trying to find hens teeth!
