Were in the military or an expat? How much are you lacking on your CJ?

Civilian working for the Army in BAF and KAF, I'm saving my pennies for my wheels tires narrowing both axles and getting axle shafts and driveshafts and a bunch of odds and ends

What is the WMS to WMS on your axles currently?

Stock 1984 Dodge WMS of 67 inches, I am going to narrow them to 60 inches and get Moser axle shafts for them. That will allow my 35 inch Goodyears to clear the frame rails on the front. I just ordered my 5th gear for my Transmission now need to bell housing to install it.

Sweet, I'm looking at going 1 tons front and rear, but i'll go full width when I do the swap and run H1 wheels with the 7 inch back spacing. That'll be sometime in the future though I'm still hunting for the axles.

Did my basic training there at FT Bliss. Also got married at the Court House in downtown El Paso. My last time there was 3 years ago when my son went on his second tour of Afgan. His unit departed from there. Lots of dust, sand, and heat! Good memories though.

I just retired from the Army in September. I was actually a musician in the Army band at Ft. Bliss. We played for a lot of Soldiers coming from and going to theater.

I've been here off and on since 2000. I bet you noticed a few changes on your last visit!

Yes, the post has changed since 1986. Army Band is a cool gig! What instrument? When I was stationed at Ft. Mead, MD we use to go to this big grassy area with our lawn chairs every Sunday evening for the Concert On the Lawn. Lot of different bands, main one was the 1st Army Band. They were really good! Last show of the season was 1812 Overture and Stars and Strips Forever to live canyon fire. That'll get the old heart pumping! :patriot:

Yes, it was a great gig. I play Euphonium(baritone horn). Only place to get paid to play is in the military or as a professor. The 1st Army band is long gone. Fort Meade is now home to the Army Field Band, one of the best Army bands.

Rockwall, still building my ride. Planning on making the colorado run in august.
