I was just wondering how many guys on here are from the great state Texas and whereabouts are you, I'm in Whitehouse just South of Tyler. I'm also curious if you guys ever do meets or trail rides together? Looking forward to your feedback :chug:

Sachse :chug: Dallas suburb. I would love to do trail rides and meets  lol but I gotta finish the Jeep first. I should have mine running by July/August I want to make the next Colorado trip :chug: There are a few more here that are currently active on the site. Have you looked into the Lone Star Jeep club yet?

East Texas, I guess that's why when I use to own land in Bronson, We called it Deep East Texas.

Currently I live in Boerne (Burn-E) which is an old German Town just NW of San Antonio on I-10. Same here local club is TJs and JKs. Guess they have never seen a real Jeep. :poke:

You could always take your steering wheel with you to their next outing. Ride shotgun with someone and pretend you're driving LMAO :poke:

Sounds like we may both have an operational CJ by summer :chug:

I know of the State Park over there that is famous for its beautiful tree colors in the fall, but what is available for wheeling?

I'm looking forward to wheeling down Padre Island. I've been about 20 miles down it, but I really want to go the full 60 miles. It's a really neat place to wheel. I've also been to Big Bend and their back country trails are fun too. Just got to hit it at the right time to beat the heat. Both are within easy driving distance from here.

This was Big Bend before I got my CJ.

There is an 2500 acre OHV park less than an hour from my house, its very convenient. I wanting to journey to some other parks though soon.
