Niedhogg, do you have any pictures or links? The '70 Charger was the epitome of excess. Big muscle cars with huge engines. Who cares about gas mileage when gas is 25 cents a gallon?

I've owned it about 18 yrs now, originally a 383 four speed (211 produced in 1970), but got it without the original motor and a 440 came with the $700 purchase price. Threw the 440 in and drove the hell out of it for a few yrs, aquired the 6-pack in '04 with a mechanical progressive linkage aND OH MY GOD does that wake up a big block!!! So about 4 yrs ago, as it was sitting in my shop (about 20 miles from my home) and we were broken into.
SOBs stole my grill, gas cap, 6-pack air cleaner, guage cluster (cut the harness to get it out and busted up the dash), and a new 850 Holley and a shaker T/A style scoop off a '74 GTO I had at the time. They must have been interrupted by something, my steering column was almost out, had started on the intake and carbs and left the pistol grip shifter.... so it sat for a while, while we tried to track down any leads but nothing came of the investigation, and a couple yrs ago I completely dismantled it to do a full blown resto. Trying to aquire the missing parts has been a pain, and have been researching companies to build a multi port 6-pack FI set up and a 6 speed. I have a rare Mopar Performance high rise intake I will set it up on that should keep it under the hood. A K-Motion front end and hoping to build an IRS for it as well, I'm going for a pro-touring set up with it. The IRS set-up may not happen. I may have some older pics at home I could put up when I get back, and had a bunch on my computer, but it crashed a few months ago and I lost everthing on it...
