Thats right. Pick yours. What model/year/drivetrain? Give us a good description. Cj 2a with a 302 ford, T-18 and dana 44s? Something like that for example. Feel free to elaborate even more. Ive even stumped myself with this one. Need time to think a little.

I'd probably sell my 1st born for a Hurricane.

Woops! You said CJ not Jeep, so the Hurricane doesn't count.

Hmmm.

I have to go with BrockGrimes. That's a pretty good set up.

1943 era M38 with latest gen Corvette motor, 5 speed manual or 4 speed auto, body stretched to handle the drive train length, atlas 4-1, matching Dana 44 's with 4 wheel disk brakes 4.10 gearing, dual rate coil over suspension with 4 link, 33 inch tires, full cage, modern gages, olive drab paint.

CJ6 body (for the extra room)
Modern boxed frame set up with a modern coil spring suspension.
3.5 lift with 33s
V6 (light and plenty of HP)
5 speed OD Transmission , truck tranny not car tranny (rugged but can do highway speeds with low gears in axles)
4.88 gearing in axles
Modern chain drive t case with a Clune underdrive ( t case would be 4 to one, under drive would be 2 to 1, giving ratios of 1 to 1, 2 to 1, 4 to 1 and 8 to 1.)
skid plates and body armor
Trailer for camping gear

Maybe i just don't dream big.

Mine is "The Ultimate".
Inherited from a kind old lady.
Less than 600 bucks invested thus far. Not including gas.
1600 miles this summer. No breakdowns thus far.
Been to places that i would never have gone without it.
Seeing the faces of my girlfriends kids after splashing thru mudpuddles.
Priceless!

I know it won't last forever, but i wouldn't trade my CJ for anything.

Well, the ultimate I had to think about. It would a TJ frame, stretched wheel base, not frame, cummins 4bt, 5 spd Transmission , atlas 4:1, a flatfender body, stretched to fit the frame.

Similar but different

CJ8 with Matkins Frame
Fuel Injected 401, but any AMC 6 and up would do
T-18
Dana 300 with terra low 4:1
Dana 44 /60, maybe just 60's
35's
RE 4.5" suspsension
Full Cage, seating for 4, possibly 6
Sliders and armor, disk brakes all around

cb

Body : CJ6 Classic "S" shaped doors and better departure angle than a CJ8

Motor : Fuel Inj. 401

Transmission . : 727 Auto. Point and shoot tranny.

Transfer Case : Twin sticked Dana 300 with 4 to 1 low range

Shaved dana 60s with 4.88s

35 in. Super Swamper Boggers

Full roll cage , skid plated and body armored to the max.

Custom trailer with pintle style hitch for al the camping gear.

CJ7
T-18 ,Scout Dana 300 with twin stick
Dana 44 front True trac L/S
Dana 44 rear with disc's and Locker
4:10's

that is not a Jeep Ken
that is a high dollar recreation that just does not do it right.
I had a chance to demo one last year at Hump N Bump. No soul
