First time poster. Does a "thick" ring gear (as the Nitro Gears Dana 44 -411T-NG) replaces the need to replace the carrier when changing gear set to a 410 ?
 
Yep, the 4.10 thick cut gears are for the 3.73 and down carrier (for a Dana 44 )
