:mad: I have a 78 CJ7 with a glass tub and a one piece front end . I bought a tilt mounting kit for the front end from Kentrol. I can't figure out how to mount the hinges to get it to tilt forward. the directions suck. Any help would be great.

I don't know what brand name my tilt kit is, but it looks like this

Maybe some pics of what you have will help us.

I tilt mine backwards because my winch is in the way for it to go forward.

Yes, my frame rails don't line up with the hinge locations (78 CJ7 ). Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
 
Lots of mods later.... Not a very good kit from Kentrol.
