My wife is a Jeep/Truck country girl, she knows more about engines and car repair then half my friends lol, her dad owned a tire and repair shop as did her brothers, she grew up around it and even worked in the shop.

Her Jeep is more than capable, and mall crawler...haha, she drove truck and tractor pulls.
She's probably got more off road capability with hers than most stock Rubicons, serious money in suspension etc, not just the looky stuff, and she needs a winch just because she has a winch style bumper, looks outta place without it.
And yes, mine goes off road as much as a midwest jeep can

Ok, a little project share...
The CJ grill interferes with the power steering on a TJ due to different mount location than the CJ, so required grill cutting. It will get a thin rubber flap attached with 2 black plastic push button fasteners, on the positive, will make it easy to remove the hard lines if so needed.

Painted the fenders today, grill and hood if I get them prepped in time tomorrow.

Going to fill some holes from old mounts on the hood, have do some sanding after paint cures on fenders. I used an ultra hard enamel epoxy as it will withstand rock chips sand etc, better than standard enamel, I've painted motor cycle frames with it and it held up great, hard to scratch and chip. It matches so damn close to the oem black you can't see the difference.

For now, it's black, I may go OD Army green in the future, then I definitely would remove all chrome
