Trans-Dapt engine swap mounts

The radiator I got off ebay for $190 shipped. And the Transmission is a built turbo 350 three speed auto I rebuilt myself.

i used a factory iron duke bell housing and still running the T-4 behind it. i have to be nice to it or its gonna go POP!!! i have a sm465 chevy tranny and bellhousing in the shed waiting for the T-4 to give up. then i will get the adapter to hook the Dana 300 up to the sm465.

So far these appear to have worked out well. Haven't mounted the radiator yet, but it looks like there will be room. The Transmission ended up about 1 cm forward - not enough to require any drive shaft mods.

Hey guys, I have the same engine mount and I have to be missing something. Did your kits come with any kind of bushing that fits inside the tube that the bolt goes through to connect the engine pads to the frame mounts? I didn't even receive bolts that were long enough to fit through the frame mounts and I was curious if they also left out some type of bushing. It just seems to me that if you just put a bolt through the frame mount to connect the engine pad to the frame mount, it will be metal on metal and it will bang around like crazy. Also, can you take a picture of how you mounted it all up. I have to be missing something here. :chug:

It did not come with any sort of sleeve or mounting hardware. I had to buy some bolts at Lowes. I bolted mine up just fine, and in fact, drove it for the first time today without any major problems.

I just did the same thing. However, I got some nylon sleeves from Lowes that fit inside the tubes and two grade 8 bolts to bolt everything together. Actually fits together really nicely. Can't wait to drive this thing.....its only been 8 years in the making.
