Turn Signal Issue??

OK, all the sudden my turn signals don't work anymore. Checked the fuse and it was blown. Changed it and it blew again. Put in a larger (20) and it blew. So then I replaced the turn signal blinker (round thing in the fuse box) and threw in another 20 fuse (I know it shouldn't be that big but its all I had left)...then the signals worked along with the headlights dimming in sync to the turn signals. They all worked except the passenger rear quarter panel one. So I took the fuse out while I figure out whats wrong. Anyone have any ideas? I'm not electonically minded so please use layman terms if possible. Thanks!

Sounds like the turn signal switch in the column. I think I have had to replace it on every thing I have ever owned.

While you're at it, check that right rear Quarter one for a short.

And verify all your grounds are still good. make sure you check your head light grounds too and marker light grounds.
