Aloha!
Hey, newbie here. I'm fairly experienced with auto work but for the life of me, I can't think of what to call this doohickey that I just broke (don't ask)
Anyone know what this spring based electrical connector is called that is accessed after removing the turn signal switch assembly please?

I couldn't get the image uploader on this site to work so I uploaded to facebook (it's safe)

Greatly appreciate any assistance

Mahalo!

The photo is fuzzy where it counts, so hard to tell what it is. Could it be the turn signal cancelling cam? I just replaced my ignition switch, turn signal switch and ignition cylinder and other than those, there were not many other plastic parts in the column.

That's the one part I would like to break!

On my CJ I set up an emergency brake buzzer. When on the trail in low range, with the 4 to 1 Transfer Case , it will drive normally even with the e-brake on. For use in 2wd, the buzzer can be switched off.
