Long story short I need to pull the twin stick on the Dana 18 and don't see what holds it together. Is this picture showing the pin that holds the sticks on almost falling out?

Looks like a pin goes through the levers and a set screw holds the pin. I have no set screw and the pin is backed out.

I need to remove the new Transmission cover so I can finish it but it was fabbed in place so stick has to come off to get the cover out.

The set screw would hold the shaft in place, if your set screw is missing the shaft should slide out, maybe spray it will PB blaster first.

Thanks, soaked it down last night and worked it loose. Got the sticks out and the cover. Now I just need to dress up the cover a bit and get it all back installed. It is a bit rough but will be covered with carpet anyway.

Thanks again for the help.
