vacum lines

On my 85cj7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l six with the tf 999 trany. Can I eliminate all but the lines that go to the distributor and Transmission . I have cleaned up the wiring under the hood. Now I would like to eliminate the vacum lines I don't need. When I got this jeep things were a mess under the hood. I would like to make things clean and simple. Thanks

if you dont need emissions. start at the canister and pull and plug. but im guessing you have the stock carb, so you'll run better with all the hoses, and emissions Junk. when i got my Cj it didnt have a carb or intake. I would have left it if i did, because once you get rid of all the stock stuff you run into a realm of tuning issues. even with a MC2100 Im thinking about running most the stuff you might be thinking about taking out because i believe she will run better and be even more reliable. I mean they ran like tops outta the factory...... IMO take some pics of what you want to remove then we would know for sure what you have plans for. hers some pics of a bare bones set up. she runs great but i think we can do better...
